Graduation – President of Performance Validation

For Immediate Release (Indianapolis, Indiana; May 1, 2017) Performance Validation, LLC is pleased to announce that on Saturday, April 29, 2017 Mr. Van Doel, President of Performance Validation received his Doctor of Philosophy degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana.  You will notice that Dr. Van Doel is wearing a Red, White, and Blue cord to honor his military service.  Graduation, and awarding of this degree is the cumulation of 6-years of effort.  Dr. Van Doel’s dissertation title is “Exploring Stewardship Characteristics in Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services Employee-Owned Companies”.  

The Indiana Wesleyan University’s Doctor of Philosophy with a major in Organizational Leadership is a blended program that includes both onsite and online coursework. Level 1 Staff Validation Engineer / Specialist

Performance Validation is seeking full-time Level 1 Validation Engineer/Specialists in the following locations: Indianapolis, IN, Portage, MI, Chicago, IL, and Augusta, GA.  The Level 1 Validation Engineer/Specialist is an entry level position and reports directly to the Division Director or Manager and is assigned to one or more project teams to perform work for Performance Validation’s customers.

An Engineering degree (preferred Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical) is required for the Validation Engineering position.  A BS degree in Life Sciences or other related technical field or equivalent military experience is required for the Validation Specialist position.

The Level 1 Validation Engineer/Specialist works within a small team environment to provide technical services to pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturers.  Technical services may include interpreting drawings, manuals, or other technical information to develop requirement documents, developing testing documents that verify installation, and/or operation of the equipment, and execution /documentation of these testing documents.  These documents are used by our life science customers to demonstrate compliance with USFDA regulations (or other regulatory bodies) for current Good Manufacturing Practices.

Level 2 Validation Engineer / Specialist

Performance Validation is seeking full-time Level 2 Validation Engineer/Specialists in the following locations: Indianapolis, IN, Portage, MI, Chicago, IL, Augusta, GA and Branchburg, NJ.  The Level 2 Validation Engineer/Specialist is a mid-level position and reports directly to the Division Director or Manager and is assigned to one or more project teams to perform work for Performance Validation’s customers.

An Engineering degree (preferred Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical) is required for the Validation Engineering position.  A BS degree in Life Sciences or other related technical field or equivalent military experience is required for the Validation Specialist position.

At Level 2, the Validation Engineer/Specialist is expected to have developed a solid foundation of technical skills necessary to provide validation services to the pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturer.  Services may be provided as either an independent or team contributor to help our customers achieve their compliance goals.  A Level 2 Validation Engineer/Specialist is a validation generalist, with a depth of skills in one or more technical areas e.g, Critical Utilities, Aseptic Processing, Cleaning/Sterilization, Dry Products Manufacturing, or CNC Validation.

Business Information CSV Specialist / Engineer

Performance Validation is seeking full-time Level 2 Validation Engineer / Specialist with expertise in the qualification and validation of Business Information Systems (CSV). This opportunity is located in the Portage, MI area and is required to support customers throughout the United States.  This is a mid-level position and reports directly to the Division Director or Manager and is assigned to one or more project teams to perform work for Performance Validation’s customers.

An Engineering degree (preferred Computer Engineering) is required for the Validation Engineering position.  A BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or other related technical field or equivalent experience is required for the Validation Specialist position.

At Level 2, the Validation Engineer / Specialist is expected to have developed a solid foundation of technical skills necessary to provide computer system validation (CSV) services to the pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturer.  Services may be provided as either an independent or team contributor to help our customers achieve their compliance goals.  A Level 2 Validation Engineer / Specialist is a computer system validation generalist, with a depth of skills in one or more specific software packages such as Windchill, TrackWise,  Master Control, Agile PLM Software, Aegis, SharePoint, Oracle, SQL, Manufacturing Execution Systems, LIMS and LIS software.
