Performance Validation’s quality management system is based on ISO 9001:2008, Quality management system – Requirements. As you are aware, ISO 9001:2008 was revised to ISO 9001:2015. A three year period was provided to allow companies to review and revise their quality systems to the new standard. Although Performance Validation has not elected to pursue formal ISO certification of our quality system, our quality managment system is based on ISO 9001 and as such over the past three years we have been working to update our quality management system to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard.
I am pleased to announce that we have completed the revision of our Quality System Manual, which was approved 9-12-18, with an implementation date of 9-26-18.
Many thanks to Holly Couch who provided a lot of the heavy lifting in revising the standard and to the review team (Jolie Kinney (HRM), Phil Burns (CFO), Brad Henry (VP and Indiana Division Director), John Underwood (VP and Michigan Division Director), and Josh Ciesolka (Quality Assurance Liaison)) for their reviews and comments.
