Temperature Mapping @ Performance Validation


Performance Validation has upgraded our temperature mapping capability in 2014 with the addition of the Vaisala VL1416 model 4 channel wide-range temperature loggers. ?Vaisala Veriteq VL-1000/1400 temperature data loggers are perfect for monitoring, alarming, and recording environmental conditions in FDA/GxP-regulated environments like pharmaceutical warehouses, research and labs, hospitals, and ultra-low temperature f These loggers have an operating range from -95°C to +70°C (-139°F to +158°F) through 25’ temperature probes and each logger can simultaneously record up to 4 data channels. This low temperature capability allows the use of data loggers for ultra low freezer and lyophilizer mappings as an alternative to the Kaye Validator 2000 and the resultant challenges of the relatively bulky system with multiple components and the need for low temperature calibration of the thermocouple wires for those applications.

For temperature only mapping, Performance Validation carries an inventory of the Vaisala VL 1000 model temperature loggers. These loggers have an operating range from -40 °C to +85 °C (-40 °F to +185 °F). These loggers excel in the mapping of standard freezers, refrigerators, and chill rooms.

For mapping that may include both temperature and humidity, such as stability chambers, climate controlled spaces, and warehouses, Vaisala Veriteq VL 2000 Temperature Humidity LoggersPerformance Validation carries an inventory of the Vaisala VL 2000 model temperature and humidity loggers. These loggers have a range of from -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F) and 0 to 100% RH.

In addition to a total inventory of over 150 data loggers, Performance Validation has conducted and documented validation of the Vaisala VLog software and hardware qualifications of the associated computers used to program, collect, and report the data and have standard operating procedures for the consistent, repeatable, and reliable use of the system for validation studies.

For mapping at the temperature extremes of cryogenic, moist or dry heat sterilization, or depryogenation, Performance Validation continues to maintain five KAYE Validator 2000 mapping systems that are calibrated, validated and ready for use.
