In Part 1 of our series, we explored what drew our long-tenured (10+ years) employees to Performance Validation and why they chose to stay. In Part 2, we continued their stories by highlighting how their careers have evolved over time.
In Part 3, we focus on how Employee Ownership has made a meaningful impact on both personal financial growth and our collective sense of purpose.
For many, the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) has been a powerful and pleasantly surprising benefit. As one employee shared, “I didn’t realize how awesome the ESOP was until I was vested and received my statement letter. Being an ESOP is amazing, and I feel lucky to have been with the company since its inception.”
Another employee added: “The ESOP value over the first five or six years is higher than what I had in my 401(k) after nine years at my previous employer. It’s almost like it gave me another decade of contribution.”
Along with the numbers, employees emphasized the cultural meaning behind ownership. One summed it up best: “The ESOP is another example of what makes PV special. It’s a layer of financial security you can’t find with many employers, and it makes me feel like we’re one big team working to improve things for everyone.”
That sense of shared investment, PV investing in its people, and employees investing their best in PV, is what continues to make PV a place worth building a long-term career. As one team member put it simply: “PV will invest in you when you invest in PV.”
Stay tuned for the final part of our series, where our long-tenured employee-owners share the values and lessons they’ve gained, and what they hope to pass along to future generations at PV.
