Celebrating Our Legacy: The People Behind Our Progress (Part 1)

At Performance Validation, we often talk about our commitment to integrity, collaboration, and problem-solving, but none of that would be possible without the steady foundation laid by our legacy employees. These are the people who have been with us for 10 years or more, shaping not only the work we do but how we do it.

Many joined PV in entry-level roles and have steadily advanced. PV represented more than just a new job; it was the opportunity for something better: a career with growth, purpose, and balance.

They have grown their careers here, deepened their expertise, mentored the next generation, and built wealth through our employee ownership model. As our company grows and evolves, their influence can be seen throughout our culture.

We gathered feedback from a handful of our legacy team members to hear their reflections on their long-term career at PV. Here is what they shared:

What originally brought you to PV?

Several team members shared that they were actively looking for a place where they could build a long-term career, especially after experiencing burnout or limited advancement at previous companies. One legacy employee explained, My last role was mentally and physically exhausting, with no real opportunity for growth. I wanted to join a company where I could thrive, not just survive.

Others were drawn by the chance to work on diverse projects, collaborate with top-tier clients, or gain insight into how other companies approach validation. One shared, A former coworker recommended PV, and the compensation and opportunities were a big step forward.

For some, PV became home through acquisition. I was part of a company PV acquired. My role has not changed much, but being part of a larger team has brought more resources and opportunity.

Another longtime employee described leaving a company with a declining culture and stagnant salaries: I couldn’t see a future there. I am thankful I found PV when I did.

And others joined PV right out of college, seeing it as a chance to plant roots. It was the right company at the right time. I started as a Staff Validation Engineer and knew this could be a place to grow.

These comments reflect the values that continue to define PV: growth, opportunity, and commitment to our people. Our legacy employees did not just find jobs; they found a long-term home. And in doing so, they have helped build a culture worth staying for.

In our next posts, we will explore how these legacy employees have grown their careers over the years, the values they hope to pass on through mentoring, and how employee ownership has contributed to their long-term financial well-being. Stay tuned!
